blog 1 - greetings & salutations

Hi Everybody, Its been a long time since I’ve sent out an email. I hope it finds you well. I miss everyone and nothing will ever be the same because of the Covid Pandemic as well as the world shaking news that: The Artisan’s Asylum has packed up and moved to Allston! If it were not for the lock-down - packing up my studio and moving out would have been even more difficult. After a year of working from home, ties to the space were lessen- but not the friendships. I am not going to have a studio at the Allston Asylum, I will be putting attention into my new website and blog posts.

My work consists of bold colors and abstract forms, that interact with surface imagery. With playful, serendipity - disassembled technology is arranged to reveal hidden beauty. I have a background in Art History & Art Education and have been making sculptural collage with disassembled technology since 2012, when I started working at the maker space, Artisan's Asylum in Somerville, MA.
